FLUFFY POODLE ALERT~
Well, at least he will be fluffy again one day soon. GRIFFON came into our rescue matted and unkempt. With a professional groom, he's looking quite spiffy! If you are lucky enough to adopt this little guy, you will need to commit to regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. No more matting for this dude.

As is the case with a lot of older rescue dogs, GRIFFON's dental condition was poor when we rescued him. YLDR commits to the "whole" dog when we provide rescue, and we understand that dental care is an important part of overall health. During his dental cleaning, GRIFFON had to have multiple extractions and is pretty much toothless. But his cuteness was not dampened. In fact, it may have created a more endearing look. And, more importantly, he sure does feel a lot better.
There are so many good things packed in his little 9 pound self. Even though he is considered an older pup – you would never know it. Take out the leash and watch him twirl around and around in anticipation of a walk. And boy can he walk – he has pep in his step and never seems to tire.
Griffon loves other dogs - his foster family has three pups, both big and small, and they play together so nicely. But people are his favorites – the first thing he does when you pick him up is wrap his front legs around your neck and rest his head on your shoulder.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually and kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.
The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.
We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
