We know you have lots of questions about this amazing dog and our meet & greet/adoption process. Most of your questions will be answered in this biography or on our Adoption Facts located at our website (web address is at end of biography). We are an all-volunteer organization, and we receive many inquiries on a daily basis. If you email a question that is already answered in this biography, you will most likely not get a response. SO SO SO CUTE!
We rescued handsome, little OAKLEY WOODS with his siblings and Mom, Maple Woods (shown in the photos).
All puppies are currently being raised together under the watchful eye of a wonderful foster mom. Maple has been teaching them how to be good doggin citizens, and their puppy socialization with litter mates will help them be well balanced when around other nice dogs.
NOTE: Oakley Woods is available for PRE-ADOPTION only. He will not be placed in an approved adoptive home until he is altered, tentatively scheduled for the end of October.
NOTE: if interested in a meet and greet, the first step is to submit an Adoption Application to see if Oakley is a good match for you/your family.
Oakley is still a young pup and wants a home that understands the world of puppies. He will only be placed in a loving home that is dedicated to work on house training, leash manners, and will introduce him to a variety of safe activities and experiences so he can be comfortable in the world.
Mom weighs about 20 pounds; however, we never had the pleasure of meeting Dad. Breed identification and adult weight/size is truly a guess, but Mom appears to be a Corgi Mix. Oakley weighed 3.8 pounds on 9/19/19. If Oakley grows up to be like his mom, he will be a small adult. It is estimated that Oakley was born on August 3, 2019.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age-appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All You Lucky Dog Rescue dogs are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives starting at 12 weeks of age. They are tested for heart worms annually starting at the age of 9 months.
We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
