Sugar is a tail-wagger. She loves to cuddle, play, and show affection. This big two-year-old is ready to settle into a household with adults, children, and/or dogs. After puppy days as a pet, sweet Sugar nearly met her end tied outdoors on a choke chain. With rescue came life-saving medical care including surgery and nursing in a foster home. Physically and mentally, she’s now rested and recovered. Sugar is an active 50-pound companion who thrives with consistent, patient, and positive guidance. She is fully housebroken, vetted, heartworm negative, spayed and microchipped. Sugar stays comfortably in a crate when needed. She responds beautifully to obedience training with praise, treats, and a firm “no.” Outdoor romping and indoor snoozing are definitely on Sugar’s agenda every day.
