ODIN BOR

ODIN'S name comes from the God, Odin, who only has one eye as well!

A good Samaritan found Odin on the street - alone and abandoned. His eye was badly damaged beyond repair. Following the law, the Good Samaritan placed Odin with the local animal control in hopes that his rightful guardian would reclaim him and where he could get immediate medical care, if needed. But, she also went to work looking for rescue for Odin should his rightful guardian not be found.

ODIN's eye, was sadly beyond repair and infected. He was also malnourished and dehydrated. In rescue, ODIN's eye was removed, but it doesn't slow him down a bit - in fact, it adds to his character! After all, he's named after a God!

For more information on our adoption process, please visit our website at www.youluckydogrescue.org and read our Adoption FAQ's and Before You Adopt documents. In addition you can complete an online adoption application from our website. You can also email info@youluckydogrescue.org for additional details that are not included in this biography.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
