Maisie is a sweet little cuddle bug who has easily found her place in her new foster home. She gets along well with all three of her foster fur-siblings (dogs) and has shown only a passing interest in the neighborhood cats. Maisie is very happy-go-lucky, with a constant smile and a perpetually wagging tail. She will follow her foster mom around the house, without being too under foot. Maisie has shown some signs of basic training: she will sit, walks nicely on a leash, and goes into her crate with only a slight nudge. The best part is...she is house trained!
Maisie is looking for a forever home, where she can be loved like a family member. She will do well as either an only dog, or with a pack. We expect that she will do well with cats and children, as she has exhibited a very gentle disposition since arriving in her foster home.
Maisie's estimated DOB is Jan 2015. We are unsure of her mix, as she looks like a petite spaniel/golden retriever but she might have some Chow in her. She weighs 25 pounds. She is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped and currently undergoing heartworm treatment.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
