KAI
Tiny paws, big personality, endless cuddles - meet Kai! Estimated to be 4 years old and is 10 pounds.
Kai is house-trained (gold star!), sleeps quietly in his crate all night (another gold star!), and wakes up each morning with a wagging tail and bright, happy energy. He’s the kind of dog who greets the day — and his people — with pure joy.
He’s a 10-pound professional cuddler, happiest curled up in your lap, but also perfectly content to perch nearby on a fluffy blanket like a tiny, scruffy prince surveying his kingdom. And that smile? Pure sunshine. He is SUCH a joyful, feel-good little dog.
He’s still rocking the “adorably scruffy” look after his buzz cut a few weeks ago (those mats had to go!), but you can already see the beautiful brown, cream, and gray spotting coming in. Give that coat a little time and he’s going to be absolutely stunning.
Playful, affectionate, and full of personality, Kai brings just the right mix of energy and snuggles. Sweet, snuggly, happy, and handsome-in-the-making… whoever scoops him up is going to be very, very lucky indeed.
Grooming Needs:
Kai will need an adopter who is committed to regular grooming for his lifetime. This includes consistent brushing at home to keep his coat healthy and comfortable, as well as scheduled visits to a professional groomer. His future family should be prepared to make grooming an important part of his care routine.
For more information on our adoption process, read our Adoption FAQ's and Before You Adopt documents. You can complete an online adoption application from our website. You can also email info@youluckydogrescue.org for additional details that are not included in this biography.
PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.
Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.
The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.
We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
