Blind dog Ray sees a bright new world, thanks to a little girl and FUTURE RESCUER who first learns how to Foster Fail! Do you remember RAY? Our blind dog from Henry County that was on his last days without rescue offer? RAY, even though sight-challenged, has experienced many things, but none happier than last week when he learned that a very special birthday girl, Audrey, received her wish for RAY to become her forever dog. If you look close at the photo, you will notice that RAY was styled in a tuxedo and snazzy hat to make the announcement to AUDREY that he promises to be nice to the kitties. Audrey's family stepped up to foster RAY and saw him through heart worm treatment, helped him to learn to navigate he new surroundings, and even researched ways to help blind dogs play and thrive. RAY couldn't be a luckier dog! AND, we know that Audrey has started the road to becoming a true dog rescuer by first learning how to fail - FOSTER FAIL, that is! Thank you Audrey and family for fostering and adopting a rescue dog.
