We know you have lots of questions about this amazing dog and our meet & greet/adoption process. Most of your questions will be answered in this biography or on our Adoption Facts located at our website (web address is at end of biography). We are an all-volunteer organization, and we receive many inquiries on a daily basis. If you email a question that is already answered in this biography, you will most likely not get a response. Thank you for understanding that we must focus our time on serious inquirers that have fully read this biography and our website information.

BOONE~

Boone is a very happy boy! He loves being near his humans with bouncy energy outside and easily relaxing as a couch potato inside. He settled in to his foster home very quickly learning the routine, and he is house-trained and crate-trained (although the crate is not his favorite place, he has made great progress). His foster Mom works from home, and Boone is a very calm and quiet office mate.

In his free time, Boone likes to chew on sticks, chase bugs, play with toys and other dogs. He LOVES playing with other dogs and is very excited to meet new friends. Boone does great on the leash, and he is easily redirected with treats, and listening/looking for commands even when there are distractions. Boone seems to have experience with children because he is quite gentle and lays down for petting when meeting kids at the adoption events he has attended.

Boone is eager to please and has a contagious silly attitude! His one-ear-up and one-ear-down style is adorable, and he has a beautiful soft brindle coat.

We believe Boone to be a Black Mouth Cur Mix. His estimated DOB is 7/2018, and he weighs 52.5 pounds as of 7/13/19.

For more information on our adoption process, please visit our website at www.youluckydogrescue.org and read our Adoption FAQ's and Before You Adopt documents. In addition you can complete an online adoption application from our website. You can also email info@youluckydogrescue.org for additional details.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested and kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
