If you are looking for an active, on-the-go, needs something to do pup, keep looking. However, if you would like to have a pup who just likes to lay around and snuggle and sleep - Caleb is your guy. The one thing that will put some pep in his step is food. Caleb is a foodie - so if he thinks it’s mealtime or treat time - you will see him dance.
Caleb John has an adorable underbite that adds so much character to his face. With his medium coat, you should plan to keep him combed and properly groomed to avoid matting - he's a guy that cares about his looks - sophisticated and regal.
Due to his small size and preference for calm, we are recommending Caleb John for a home with children over the age of 8 or adults only. He's truly is one of the easiest pups this foster Mom has ever had.
We believe CALEB JOHN to be a Shih Tzu/Terrier Mix. His estimated DOB is 8/12/13, and he weighs 15.4 pounds as of 8/9/19.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested and kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.
The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.
We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
