BRAVE BETTY
Brave Betty is a 2½ year old sweetheart weighing in at a perfect 38 pounds of love, snuggles, and playful energy. True to her name, Betty may be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality shines, especially if she has another friendly dog around to help show her the ropes.
Betty is completely house trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to the right home. She’s a smart girl, too, and already knows commands like sit, wait, paw, and no. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys her daily strolls… unless a squirrel makes an appearance - then her curiosity kicks into high gear!
When playtime rolls around, Brave Betty is all in. Tennis balls are one of her favorite things, and she absolutely loves to play. A fenced yard where she can safely enjoy her daily zoomies would make her very happy. She also gets along well with other dogs and would love a playful canine sibling to romp around with and build confidence alongside.
At the end of the day, Betty is a snuggly girl who enjoys curling up close with her people. Because she can be a little timid at first, older children would likely be the best fit for her. She has not yet been tested with cats.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.
Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.
The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.
We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
