SO SO SO CUTE!- KELANI

Kelani...a special name for a special girl. Kelani is Hawaiian for "Heavens", which is appropriate as this angel pup is so wonderful to be around, bringing a smile to her foster parents' faces each day. Kelani is a great playmate amongst dogs and a wonderful cuddler with her humans. Kelani does need a canine playmate....she loves to play and she also loves the canine company. She is good with following the lead of the older dogs, so if you have a great canine in your home, she likes to play copycat and model their behavior.

Kelani (her foster family calls her KeKe) is in a foster home with a teenager as well as small and large dogs, and she does great with all of them. She is crate trained and house trained. She is very food motivated and very trainable. There are always laughs at meal time as she does her happy dance and runs gleefully to her crate and sits like she has been taught, awaiting her meal. She is a sucker for treats and sits very nicely and patiently for her turn for treats alongside her 4 canine foster sisters.

She sleeps through the night without a peep in her crate, but she does love to tuck her human sister in and cuddles right next to her, hoping that her foster mom forgets to put her in her crate at night. She does love to lay in her human's lap in the evening to get some love and delicious ear rubs. If there is a tv show with an animal on it, chances are she actually will watch the tv show with her person.

While she is still growing, we think that Kelani will only be medium sized when she is fully grown. At 7 months, she is about 28 pounds. It will be interesting as to how her ears will turn out when she is fully grown.....right now, they have a mind of their own. They are ever changing, whether up and alert or down and relaxed, or pinned back when she is concerned about something that is going on around her. Those ears are almost as expressive as her beautiful hazel eyes. She is certainly a beauty with a wonderful personality to match.

KeKe is an awesome pup, and she is ready for her forever family which will have another dog to play with and loving humans that recognize that she has a great foundation of obedience/manners and will continue to train her to be the best that she can be.

KELANI is still a young pup and wants a home that understands the world of puppies. She will only be placed in a loving home that is dedicated to work on house training, leash manners, and will introduce her to a variety of safe activities and experiences so she can be comfortable in the world.

KELANI is believed to be a Pit Bull Terrier/LAB Mix. Her estimated DOB is May, 6, 2019, and she weighed about 30 pounds as of December, 2019.
