Meet Little Miss Big Stuff, Amina! She is the sister to Chesna, so please go check out her bio when you’re done here. We know it may be challenging to keep these sisters together, but they are bonded and we’d like to try. They were both so scared in the shelter environment and it was heartbreaking, but at least they had each other. Fast forward to today! With some patience and guidance, these girls are so happy and playful knowing they are safe and loved. Amina is a chihuahua/dachshund mix and weighed 12 pounds on her recent vet visit. The vet believes she is approximately 1 year old. Amina loves to play with other dogs, even big ones as long as they are friendly and not too rough. Playtime with toys, sticks and balls in their foster home’s fenced-in backyard is her most favorite activity. We are currently working on potty-training and with structure, she will pick it up in no time. Amina loves her crate and keeps it clean and accident free.
A potential adopter needs to know Amina will need slow introductions to activities outside the home. Patience and guidance are key. And a home without very small children may be best for this girl. Amina is absolutely precious and will reward her adoptive family with lots of cuddles and doggie kisses. Come meet this very special girl!
